Two weeks ago, the Wren & Willow team participated in Rebuilding Together's annual "Rebuilding Day." This year marked the 6th year that Wren & Willow's Tom Motland served as a House Captain by helping to organize the volunteer efforts. As longtime supporters of Rebuilding Together, we were so privileged to be part of this amazing event. Wren & Willow's Aleks Akinshev was there to capture the event.
A team was assigned to repair the brick retaining wall in the front yard.
The front steps were rotten, so the team replaced the stairs and handrails.
House Captain Tom Motland posed for family photos with his daughter Lisa and son-in-law Chris.
The landscaping team installed a new landscape bed and laid topsoil for a new seed grass area.
The crew took a much deserved lunch break thanks to our food sponsors, The Rock Wood Fire Kitchen.
Canopy posts were secured at the top and bottom to assure safe access to the back door.
A new kitchen countertop and sink were installed to replace the moldy, rusty old countertop. The homeowner was thrilled with the new countertop.
